2015 Tri-State Sustainability Symposium

Now in its fifth year, this day-long symposium brings together industry, university and community leaders to share best practices, ask challenging questions, and provide cutting edge information about sustainability in the PA/DE/NJ Tri-State region. This event, to be held at Temple University, will draw over 800 attendees and will feature sessions covering diverse topics such as Net Zero, water conservation, green leasing, commercial real estate, art and sustainability, renewable energy, ENERGY STAR, LEED v4 and more.  Check back as this page will be updated with more information as the event gets closer!
 
During the breakfast hour segment we will hear from Anthony E. Malkin, Chairman, CEO, and President of Empire State Realty Trust and Judy Wicks, local entrepreneur, activist, and author of award-winning memoir Good Morning, Beautiful Business: the Unexpected Journey of an Activist Entrepreneur and Local Economy Pioneer.
Over lunch, we'll hear from Emily Allen of the award-winning design firm Dekker/Perich/Sabatini on the intersection of sustainability, design and technology and Michele N. Siekerka, former Assistant Secretary of NJ DEP and current President of the New Jersey Business & Industry Association on the intersection of business and sustainability and how it can be done.
