Join the Temple University Wind Symphony for an evening of timeless classics. Igor Stravinsky’s Octet for chamber winds opens the concert, followed by a transcription of Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story. The program continues with a transcription of Bach’s organ masterpiece Toccata and Fugue in D Minor. Boyer faculty mezzo-soprano Katherine Leemhuis joins the Wind Symphony for a performance of Mahler’s Um Mitternacht, and the evening concludes with Kevin Puts’ celebratory Millenium Canons
