Temple University Wind Symphony (Virtual)

September 25, 2020 - 7:30 pm
Dr. Patricia Cornett, conductor

Temple University Wind Symphony opens its season with a concert entitled “In Reverence.” The ensemble has been broken up into six smaller chamber groups, and each piece pays tribute to a person, place, or idea. Each piece will be pre-recorded, and audiences can look forward to a brass ensemble tribute to Gabrieli, a mixed chamber ensemble tribute to the art of Jackson Pollock, and Richard Strauss’ breathtaking Serenade, Op. 7, which honors and expands the Harmoniemusik traditions of the 18th-century.

Performance will be available for viewing on the Boyer College YouTube channel.
