The Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia returns to the stage to celebrate Philadelphian and Jazz Pianist McCoy Tyner.The concert will feature The Jazz Orchestra of Philadelphia, under the direction of POPS Artistic Director for Jazz, Terell Stafford, and will present the music of legendary jazz pianist and Philadelphian McCoy Tyner. He is considered one of the most influential jazz pianists of all time.

“McCoy Tyner is the most powerful and dynamic piano player of the 21st century,” said Artistic Director for Jazz Terell Stafford. “As a pianist, McCoy Tyner found a way to raise the bar every time he played. The energy and excitement that he achieved with a piano were untouchable.”
