On the 2nd Wednesday of each month, the TPAC Lobby will transform into a swanky cabaret lounge with acts of daring artistry from our artful owls!
Enjoy a cabaret atmosphere with food, drinks, and good friends while watching our student singers, scene makers, spoken word artists, filmmakers, dancers, musicians and more, take up the mic.
Wednesday, September 11 will feature: Sophie Yerxa Robinson, Poem, Ode to Patrick Swayze Lucianna Astorga and collaborative pianist Kim Barroso performing "Quando m'en vo" (As I Walk By) from La Bohème by Giacomo Puccini Kendall Harris, with Adenike Onanuga on acoustic guitar, Song poem Poetry As Performance Class And special guest... CPCA Alum and Distinguished Visiting Professor Bryan Terrell Clark ('03) Clark is an elite level talent of TV, Film and Theater having starred in numerous Broadway shows – he has a Grammy Award nomination for his work as Marvin Gaye in Motown the Musical and appeared in Hamilton (as George Washington). Clark has also been a featured role on Snowpiercer on A&E and is currently featured on a new TV show on BET+ entitled Diarra From Detroit.
