The Philadelphia Orchestra is traveling up Broad Street to Temple University for a FREE community performance honoring North Philadelphia and the surrounding community!

Featuring works by Adolphus Hailstork; Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges; Scott Joplin; Florence Price; Duke Ellington; Jessie Montgomery; and William Grant Still, this concert highlights incredible Black composers that have often been overlooked by the classical music world, as well as contemporary composers that are blazing a trail for new voices on the scene.

This concert is a live extension of the Orchestra’s groundbreaking Our City, Your Orchestra digital series, which uncovers and amplifies the voices, stories, and causes championed by unique Philly organizations and businesses that align with what The Philadelphia Orchestra is today, and what we are becoming.
